RMS Or RIMC OR Sainik School ? Which one to Choose? A Guide line

Before we go in to the details  let us see in brief what are the vacancy in these institutions?

Rashtriya Military School
Class VI-----------------------Total  5 in number --------------Vacancy for class VI - 50 in each school

Sainik School------------------Total 15 in number -------------Vacancy for class VI - 100 in each school

Age of entry 10 to 11 years

Reservation

RMS---- 67 % for Serving / Ex Service personnel-     33 % for other ( SC, ST, Civilians)

Sainik----25 % for    - " -                                    -     75 % for others ( SC- 15%, ST 7.5%, , Other states- 10% 43 % for other communities of the particular state)

RMS - Has One common Entrance Exam for all Schools

Sainik School- You can apply for one school only. ( In the state of your residence you get more vacancy)

RIMC- Only for Class VIII- Total vacancy- 25 seats per every six  months.


Suggestions:
Apply for both RMS  ( In august) and for Sainik School In October)

Written exam for RMS-  Dec 15,
Written Exam for Sainik- Jan First Sunday.

RMS as well as Sainik School offers about 10 to 15 seats in class IX.

Fee - Max scholarship is in RMS
          Followed by             RIMC
          Followed by             Sainik School

AIM- Admission in NDA
