HOW TO WRITE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION QUITIONAIRE?

As soon as you enter the Services Selection Board for attending the Interview you would be asked to write a PIQ.

In this two pages form, you will be writing about your family back ground, about your educational qualifications

Your extracurricular activities, information about your home town and about your achievements in NCC, School, college life,

If you are a service person about your service details

It will also ask you if you are a fresher (first timer for the SSB or have you attempted earlier, if you the details)

It will in short give a picture about you in brief.

This will be referred by

a)      Interviewing Officer

b)      Psychologist

c)       Latter it will be attached with your Performance report and sent to the appropriate HQ, in case you get selected.

Some dos:

1.       Have all the details ready ( such as your mark sheet,  the details of your parents salary, the details about your home town)

2.        If you had achieved some certificates, attended some course, extra, the details about when, where will be of immense help.

3.       Do not fabricate any stories about your achievements.       

4.       Write the truth

How to write?

                This is very important for, you are selling yourself to the organization which would be recruiting you.   Think like a salesman selling his company product to a customer.

How to score Centum in Mathematics- School Kids.

Get rid of fear of mathematics and
score 100%

In a class of 40
boys, on testing, we found that about 80% of them score low marks in
Mathematics.

When we tried to find
the reasons for this low marks we found the following reasons:

1.       The kid did not understand the basics.

2.       Lack of practice

3.       Fear of asking the teacher when the child
has not understood the basics

4.       Lack of reasoning

5.       Lack of the meaning of different words used
in framing the questions.

6.       An unwarranted fear that maths is tough

7.       Last but not the least is criticizing the
child when it does the problems and branding them as a duffer and dull student.

8.       Dyscalculia is the fear of maths, as others
keep saying it is tough and the mind accepts it as a difficult subject.

9.       Not knowing the Formula is another reason
for not being able to do.

10.   Basics, tables and conversion of units not
being performed by the kid, leads to wrong answers.

Let us see how we can
overcome these problems.

In order to do fast
calculation, recalling certain facts and figures is necessary.

For example knowing the tables would be of great help. (hence commit it to
memory 2, 20 up to 20 times)

When we say what is
16 times 16, most of the class v children would not know. This can be avoided
if the tables are committed to memory

How does it help?

What is (4²x
4²)?

This is clearly 16 x
16 = 256

If the child does not
know this it will start as follows:-

( 4²  = 4 x 4 = 16x 4 = 64 x 4 = 256) You can see it
has to take yet another step to arrive at the answer.

This not only is a
waste of time and sometimes a wrong calculation is multiplying adds to agony.)

One must know the
relations between each term. Is between centiliters and milliliters and litres.

If you are a body builder your bones would be slight heavy so you must tell the medical officer that your hobby is body building, he will give you some allowance

Otherwise, you better start the following exercise to bring yourself in the age- wt limit

A 10 % over weight to the above said scale is acceptable

If not you will be put on Temporary unfit list and given 42 days to improve

Exercise to start for burning your body fat

Note: The Medical board permits +/- 10% of the candidate’s weight (i.e. if a candidate is 21 year old with height 167 then boards will pass him if his weight in between 50.4 and 61.6) 

 

Eye sight-------------- Get your eye sight checked at an eye hospital and wear glasses if necessary

Lasik cannot be done before 20 years of age. If you are appearing of ssb it should have been done a year before the ssb 

Colour-blindness----- See our Chart

Teeth : must have a good set of 28 teeth. Go to a dentist and get it checked up prior to your ssb intervi0ew

Any surgery you have undergone—get the certificate of fitness from the Hospital you had undergone the operation.

Do not worry about minor operations. As long as you can carry out normal physical activities, you stand a good chance of being declared fit.

Find out about Flat foot / Knock knee it takes a long time to get these defects rectified. Consult a Orth specialist , in case you have been given unfit.

Wax in the ear- get it cleaned before going to SSB Interview

      

                                                                    

Exercise one

Running 3 km a day speed 5-6 mins per km- Not easy just try it

Sit ups 50 to 100 morning and evening

Skipping 250 a day

Cycling- Swimming  every day for 1 to 2 hours

Stop taking rice and go for wheat- No Ghee No parathas.

Black tea with less sugar

Diet watch it No sweets, no ice creams, reduce oil /fat intake

Some yoga for burning fat this is on rainy days and it takes a pretty long time

Well you have to lose weight not me.
